It was published Manual "Strengthening the Role of Business in Achieving the SDGs in Ukraine" prepared by Irina Zapatrina, the Chairman of the Board of the Center

The Manual reviews business opportunities in achieving Sustainable Development Goals, assessed its potential in this area, considered the advantages for business from active participation in this process. It is also presented forms and mechanisms of business participation in achieving Sustainable Development Goals, analyzed how to apply the best world practices in this sphere in Ukraine. It is evaluated the role of public authorities in this process, provided recommendations for the development of partnerships between business and government in achieving national SDG indicators for Ukraine.

The publication was prepared under the support of the German Government's Green Economy Program implemented by Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ) GmbH and in cooperation with the United Nations Development Program in Ukraine (UNDP) in the framework of the UNDP / GIZ Project "Support to the Implementation of the Sustainable Development Goals in Ukraine".

On April 18, 2018 in the conference hall of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine took place Workshop on National Emissions Reductions Plan"

The Chairman of the Board of the Center Irina Zapatrina spoke at the seminar on "NERP macro-economic framework and potential sources of financing" and "A market oriented model for NERP implementation"

On March 26, 2018 in Geneva (Switzerland )took place Expert level meeting on People-first PPPs: Implementation challenges and actions for the UN Sustainable Development Goals organized by the International PPP Center of Excellence of UNECE

The Chairman of the Board of the Center Irina Zapatrina took part in the discussions under Session II (The Belt and the Road Initiative) and Session III (Fighting corruption in PPPs).

On March 16, 2018 in Tashkent took place International Workshop "Public-Private Partnerships: Promoting International Standards and Best Practices in Uzbekistan" organized by the EBRD with the support of IFC and UNDP

The Chairman of the Board of the Center Irina Zapatrina spoke at the event in the framework of the second session "National PPP environment in the region: achievements and lessons learnt".

On March 1, 2018 in the Conference hall of Academy of Science of Ukraine took place Workshop on National Emissions Reduction Plan implementation

Irina Zapatrina, the Chairman of the Board of the Center has participated in the event with a presentation “NERP macro-economic framework and potential sources of financing”.

On January 25-26, 2018 in Kiev took place the conference "Experience of Poland, Norway and Ukraine in the field of energy efficiency improvement of municipal economy" organized by the Association of Ukrainian Cities together with the Association of Polish Cities, the Norwegian Association of Local and Regional Authorities and the Association "Energy Efficient Cities of Ukraine"

This event has gathered city mayors and representatives of local authorities from Ukrainian, Polish and Norwegian cities, experts from organizations working in the field of energy efficiency, representatives of central authorities.

The goal of the event was to present the results of the project "Polish-Norwegian Aid for Energy Efficiency Improvement in Ukraine", discus the State Energy Efficiency Policy, present the best practices in improving energy efficiency in the municipal economy.

The Chairman of the Board of the Center Irina Zapatrina has made a presentation "Legal regulation of energy efficiency projects implementation on the conditions of public-private partnership".

On October 21-22, 2017 in Geneva (Switzerland) took place the First Session of the UNECE Working Party on Public-Private Partnership

The event was attended by the representatives of more than 200 countries of the world, international organizations, non-governmental organizations, private sector and scientific institutions.

On the first day of the session, dedicated to the issues of mobilising the PPP units of the countries behind the UN SDGs  Mikhail Titarchuk, the Deputy Minister of Economic Development and Trade of Ukraine, who headed the delegation of Ukraine at the event has spoken on Ukraine's key achievements in this area.

Irina Zapatrina, the Chairman of the Board of the Center has spoken on the 2nd day of the session during the panel discussion on the prospects of Ukraine's participation in the programs on institutional capacity increasing  in the field of PPP in the framework of the "One Belt - One Way" initiative. The said program will be implemented in accordance with the Memorandum signed between the UNECE and China’s National Development and Reform Commission.

Irina Zapatrina, the Chairman of the Board of the Center has made a presentation at VI International Scientific and Practical Conference "ENERGY EFFICIENT UNIVERSITY", which took place on October 26, 2017, on the basis of Kyiv National University of Technology and Design

On October 23-24, 2017 in Vienna (Austria) took place the third International Colloquium on Public-Private Partnership on updating and consolidating the UNCITRAL Legislative Guide on Privately Financed Infrastructure Projects and accompanying Legislative Recommendations and Model Legislative Provisions on Private Financed Infrastructure Projects

Irina Zapatrina, the Chairman of the Board of the Center took part in the group that considered improving chapter II of the Guide “Project Risks and Government Support”.
